As you may be aware, as of 11th February 2026 Blue Zebra, The Proplab Group and Point Insurance have formally completed our share sale transaction and now form a single entity. This allows us to draw on the strengths, unique value propositions and expertise of each business to provide a market-leading service proposition and product suite.
We are focused on delivering a new brand proposition and service offering with our broker partners front of mind. This means that we will be transitioning all brands into a newly rebranded Blue Zebra, allowing us to streamline our offering with the best of all worlds in one place.
The SGUA SCTP product will decline any new policies with a policy start date of 1 July 2026 onwards and send out decline notices on renewals with a start date of 1 July 2026 onwards, although see below for replacement terms information. From this date SGUA will no longer issue New Business quotes on SCTP.
Any renewals or new business issued with inception dates prior to 1 July 2026 may be bound provided they are bound by 22 May 2026. After this, these quotes will expire and need to be requoted on the Zebra Lounge. Policies quoted and bound prior to 22 May 2026 will remain on SGUA branding and SGUA wording.
Regarding unbound quotes, should you wish to bind a policy for a quote received, please could you bind it on the existing SGUA system before 5pm (AEST) on Friday, 22 May 2026. If you are unable to bind these quotes before the cut off time, we ask that you rekey the quote into the Blue Zebra system and contact us if you have any issues.
Non-renewal notices will be issued for all expiring policies after 30 June 2026. Although no replacement policy will be offered on SCTP, a replacement policy will be available on the Zebra Lounge, under the new Blue Zebra branding and containing the same policy number as the prior SGUA policy.
Alternatively, you may choose to remarket on SCTP, and we encourage you to consider the Blue Zebra SCTP product to maintain the same level of service you have come to expect under the SGUA brand.
